Biography

Not to be confused with the 15th-century Caron, this composer is credited with three chansons in Du Chemin imprints (acriptions to "Caron" in the 12th and 14th Livres de chansons nouvelles, 1557 and 1559). It is unusual that all three can be traced to printed literary sources: Fleur de poesie (Lotrian 1542-43) and G. de la Taysonnière (1555).
