Deux recueils imprimés par P. Attaingnant et J. Moderne en 1538 et 1541 attribuent trois chansons à "Forestier". Aucune mention d'archive d'un musicien de ce nom n'a été localisée à ce jour, et il ne s'agit probablement pas du compositeur Mathurin Forestier* actif au début du siècle.
