Je vouldrois ce gentil clerc estre,
Non pas pour grace qu’en luy treuve,
Ni aussi pour estre ton maistre,
Las du contraire as tant de preuve,
Car tu sçais bien que tout mon œuvre.
Ne tend qu’a estre serviteur,
Mais je vouldrois changer ma sœur
Mon sort à luy, et ma fortune,
Pour tous les jours avoir c’est heur,
Veoir mamye à heure opportune.
