Biography

Compositeur et imprimeur-libraire, ordonné clerc dans le diocèse de Langres, puis marié (acte de 1565 qui le qualifie de "clericus coniugatus Lingonensis dioecesis impressor in Urbe apud ecclesiam Societatis"), cité comme témoin du débat entre Vicentino et Lusitano à Rome en 1551, puis chantre à la Cappella Giulia de Rome, 1552-1554. Son activité d'imprimeur est attestée de 1555 à 1565 (devise : Malorum oblivionem solatium curarum afferunt) mais des documents le signalent encore à Rome en 1572 (Grove Online, Franchi 2014).
