Comments: Ferer 2012 (esp. p. 58) fails to realize that Philippot de Bruges and Philippe Paillette are one and a same person, serving the Burgundian-Habsburg chapel from 1501 to 1521. Van Doorslaer also misunderstood the continuity of Paillette's service during all the court's travels to Spain, writing erronously: "Il n'accompagne pas Ie souverain en Espagne, ni en 1 501 , ni en 1506, et ce n'est qu'en 1510 (27 décembre) qu'on Ie retrouve dans la chapelle de Charles V, chantre aux gages de 9 sols" (Van Dooslaer 1934, p. 153).
